A: IMPORTANT: Inspect your merchandise as soon as you receive it and notify FrameStoreDirect immediately if the merchandise has been damaged in shipment.  If you notify FrameStoreDirect that the merchandise has been damaged in shipment or was made incorrectly within 3 days of the date that the merchandise is delivered to you, we will have the damaged merchandise either repaired or replaced at no cost to you.

 A: Safety backing is a pressure-sensitive, adhesive film that adheres to the back of the mirror. It is designed to help prevent glass from scattering in the event of accidental breakage.

 A: No – unfortunately we do not do oval mirrors. At this time, we offer 7 rectangle sizes to choose from in 21 different styles of mouldings.

 A: FrameStoreDirect® frames are a high-quality, custom made by an American manufacturer using mouldings and materials of the highest quality. Please use the same care as you would for a piece of fine furniture:

• DUST frames with soft cloth or feather duster.
• CLEAN with soft, water-dampened cloth only, using a light touch. Wipe dry gently. Sponges and abrasives should not be used on or touch the frames.
• DO NOT SPRAY ANY CLEANING PRODUCT on the frames or near the frames.  Spray all mirror cleaners on a rag to prevent the solvents from coming in contact with the frame. Should a cleaner or solvent come in contact with frame, wipe off immediately with damp cloth.
• DO NOT use glass cleaners that contain ammonia.

Please note that any frame – whether wood, plastic or MDF – will be damaged by incorrect cleaning methods.

 A: We manufacture all of the products we sell.  Production time ranges from 10 - 14 business days from the placement of the order. So the delivery time will be the production time plus the transit time. Our studio is in Southern California. If you live in California expect delivery in two to three days.  If you live on the east coast expect 5 to 7 days.

 A: No we only ship to a physical location. 

 A: Enter both a billing and shipping address when you place the order.  Incorrectly entered addressess are subject to an $11 reshipping fee.

 A: We will send a shipment confirmation via email with your tracking information upon shipment of the order. 

 A: Track the package using the tracking number provided in the shipment confirmation. If it shows the package has been delivered, please contact us immediately.

 A: Please contact us within 3 business days of receiving the wrong item. We will send a call tag to pick up the incorrect item and will re-process your order.

 We offer a wide variety of frames custom designed to showcase important documents and mementos. 

This includes frame options for honor certificates, awards, professional credentials, portraits, school, team, military document, as well as Greek sorority and fraternity initiation certificates.

Diploma sizes vary depending on a multitude of factors...year of graduation, type of degree, undergraduate degree or post-graduate degree (law and medical degrees are often different sizes).

Yes, we can make a frame for any size of diploma using the "Other Size" option after you selected your preferred Style.

Do not send us your diploma. Installation instructions are enclosed with the frame. The diploma slides easily into the frame with no tools necessary.

1.  Place the frame face down on a soft level surface, hanger side up.

2.  Gently pull back the tabs on all four sides of the frame and remove the black back board. There is no need to remove the glass.

3.  Place your diploma face down and center it over cut mat board, making sure that its sides are parallel to the edges of the opening and the sides of the frame.

4.  Use the double-sided peel-off tape included to secure the diploma to the mat board: Peel off tape backing to expose the adhesive side to secure the document to the mat board.

5.  Replace the black back board and rotate the tabs back into place.

Our diploma frames are crafted in solid wood with a variety of distinctive finishes.  

We take pride in producing a very high quality product and, as such, are very selective about the quality of our frame mouldings.

FrameStoreDirect uses only "archival" quality matting and back board that meets or exceeds the Library of Congress standard for museum framing. All mats are fade resistant and will protect the diploma from yellowing.

We use UPS ground to ship your frame any where in the 48 contiguous States with the exception of shipping to P.O. Boxes and APO addresses. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge and must be selected in the shopping cart at Check-out.

Your online shopping transactions are handled by our secure server using Secure Sockets Layer encryptions (SSL). All credit card information is processed by the credit card processing gateway and is never seen nor stored by us.

The information we maintain is that which is needed to process your order (i.e. contact and shipping information). We do not sell nor distribute your personal information to any third party.

 A: Customers may RETURN item(s) within 30 days of receiving an order. Framestoredirect will administer complete REFUNDS, minus the cost of shipment. Invoice Numbers or Order Numbers must be indicated on the outside of the shipment to ensure for a FULL PRODUCT REFUND upon retrieval of item(s).
